About Telebriefings

MBProject Telebriefings are 60 - 75 minute audio-conferences that cover controversial topics in a manner that provides constructive input into emerging market issues. Participants can interact directly with top federal regulators and industry leaders.

Unlike our HIPAA Policy Roundtables, Telebriefings are unstructured and organized quickly to provide an excellent venue for direct and authoritative feedback on compliance issues. Topics are selected based on the current of emails and calls we receive into our offices. We also interject time-sensitive industry issues that need to be addressed as we collectively implement new privacy, security and transaction regulations in medical banking service areas.

Our Telebriefings have been well attended by healthcare administrators, banks, regulators, associations, legal firms and others. MBProject Members have access to audio files, transcripts, and presentation materials from each Telebriefing. The Telebriefing library also contains a listing of the issues we received and addressed during the events as well as unofficial guidance materials developed by MBProject research staff that relate to the issues discussed. A library of relevant materials is also presented to enhance study in this area by policy makers, regulators, commercial leaders, associations and others.
