HIMSS MBProject Advisory Council

HIMSS Medical Banking Institute is the industry's foremost venue for fostering cross-industry educational programming in the emerging field of medical banking, (a field pioneered and named by the founder of MBProject). In 2006, a President's Council was established to provide consultation and assistance to MBProject for activities related to the Medical Banking Institutes, Medical Banking Leadership Forums and our workgroups.

The Council was reconstituted after the acquisition of MBProject by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a prominent and global organization that promotes the advancement of healthcare through optimum use of information technology. The new HIMSS MBProject Advisory Council reports directly to the HIMSS Board of Directors. The Council plays a vital role in managing educational instruction and supplementing executive participation and organizational structure at HIMSS MBProject. Voluntary participants include:
