Synopsis:
This educational event was held at the 5th National HIPAA Summit in Baltimore, MD, on October, 2002 as a special preconference symposium (IV). It was the first cross-industry event that focused totally on medical banking topics and included a number of government regulators speaking and in the audience, commercial banks, IT firms, attorneys, press correspondents and others. The forum encouraged an open and frank discussion between commerce and the regulators present.
